We enjoyed this project: a restoration job on an old Mercedes. We were excited that the owner of this car decided to keep the original color.
Our first step was to strip the car and use body filler to correct the imperfections. Next, we removed the hood and primed the rest of the vehicle, before priming and reattaching the hood.
Before the care when into our paint booth, we protected other areas with tape to prevent overspraying. Then, the car was painted and restored to the original factory color.
